Following on from our Golden Mojito which we launched last week, here’s your next dosage of our 12 days of Christmas cocktails and where you’ll need to be heading to ensure the festive spirits are running high.
If you want to try making these at home, we’ve chucked in a couple of recipes too for good measure.
A festively seductive mixture of Ciroc Red Berry, mixed with lemonade and pomegranate juice - served with a lemon twist for extra zest. Served at Grace.
Laced with Smirnoff, Baileys, vanilla and Frangelico - served with a Pfeffernüsse (German biscuit). The Hansel and Gretel’s of a legal age will most certainly be a fan. Served at Jewel Piccadilly.
It’s not Christmas without a sprinkling of snow and so this full-on avalanche cocktail aims to please, accompanied, with a sprinkling of chocolate biscuit. Served at Piccadilly Institute.
12.5ml Ketel One
12.5ml Crème de banana
12.5ml White cacao
Top with milk
Prep glass with crushed ice; mix all ingredients together in a shaker and pour over. Top with extra crushed ice, garnish with crushed chocolate biscuit.
A mixture of Baileys, Crème de Cocoa White, and milk. We wouldn’t recommend the reindeer that’s been hanging around this cocktail and leaving tracks to drink and drive mind. Served in Agenda.
Candy Cane Martini
A very cute cocktail containing Ketel One, Crème de Menthe, peppermint schnapps and milk for a deliciously creamy and minty mouthful. Served with a candy cane - could you get any more Christmassy? Served in Loop bar.
25ml Ketel One
12.5ml crème de menthe
12.5ml peppermint schnapps
Shake all the ingredients together in a shaker with ice and double strain into a chilled martini glass and serve with a candy cane sweet hanging off the side.
Egg Nogg Martini
It's the good old Christmas classic Advocaat turns sexy with the addition of Smirnoff Vanilla and Amaretto. Not your average Egg Nogg by any means. Served at Gem.
