'Something For The Weekend'

14 November 2013

Who needs a better excuse to go shopping than the simple fact that the weekend is coming?! Something For The Weekend: Part I.

Below you’ll find ten of my fave going out garmz that are in the shops at the mo…mostly high street, with a few cheeky spendy bits for anyone wanting to be particularly flash with their cash. (See it as an early Christmas present to yourself?!).

1. Skye Sequin Blazer by Goldie - £79

An oversized blazer in a masculine cut is a must for AW13, but it doesn't mean having to go too blokey. This sequin version is a head-turner and perfect for covering up as we head into party season.

Buy it here.

2. Floral Sequin Tee by ASOS - £28 (reduced from £40)

This tee looks like it's straight off the Ashish catwalk, but it's in fact a bargain from ASOS...and currently on sale!

Buy it here.

3. Stretch Sequin Front Trousers by H&M - £29.99

Sticking with the sequin theme for a minute, these stretchy trousers from H&M are gorgeously flattering and super easy to team with anything. They're not sequinned all the way round, so they look fab from the sides too.

Buy them here.

4. Tartan Open Back Dress by Rare - £52

Tartan is everywhere this season and it appeals to everyone's inner Cher Horowitz, this dress is great worn with black booties for a night out.

Buy it here.

5. Printed Shift Dress by Emma Cook - £299

If you want to hit two trends with one dress, this Emma Cook number does just that with its blend of tartan and Bargello digital prints. It's slightly amazing.

Buy it here.

6. iPhone Case by Skinny Dip - £18

Bling when you ring.

Buy it here.

7. Slinky Statement Necklace by River Island - £15

A statement necklace is a great (and easy!) way to jazz up an outfit, ideal if you need to transition from day to night with a few accessories. The pastel jewels on this one are suitably lovely.

Buy it here.

8. Marabou Feather Bag by Topshop - £50

Ahhhh, who doesn't love a feather bag?! Prepare for people to want to stroke it.

Buy it here.

9. Tortoiseshell Heels by Zara - £79

I've needed a pair of tortoiseshell contrast heels ever since falling in love with a Stella McCartney pair, luckily these are slightly more affordable! If you can bear the heel for daytime, I would totally suggest rocking them with workwear too.

Buy them here.

10. Dégradé Tiger Clutch by McQ Alexander McQueen - £115

It's worth sacrificing the roominess of a handbag when a clutch looks this good.

Buy it here.
