Something For The Weekend

6 April 2014

There are plenty of great finds out in the shops this weekend, especially if you're a fan of anything with bold prints. Go matchy matchy with multiple pieces in one print or be bold and clash it up completely.

Most of the shops have colour variations of the same prints so that you can clash in a matchy way, which makes it all a bit safer (i.e you're less likely to look like an acid trip) but still gains maximum fash points.

I want the Tessa Metcalfe ring SO much.

Happy shopping!

1. Sandals by alice + olivia - £142.50 (reduced from £285)

These ssssssexy ssssssandals will have you snaking your way to the front of the bar in no time. (No snakes were harmed to make these shoes so fabulous).

Buy them here.

2. Crop Top & Shorts by Missguided - £19.99 each

Ok it may need to get a *bit* warmer before this outfit gets much airtime, but when it does get hot, you'll look hot.

Buy them here.

3. Skirt by Warehouse - £45

A great 'day to night' option as this skirt can be made to look office appropriate or fun times appropriate with some simple accessorising skillz. You should consider the matching top too.

Buy it here.

4. Ring by Tessa Metcalfe - £280

This ring is called 'Claws of Engagement' and it's probably the best thing I've seen this week. It's solid silver (the actual 'claws' are also gold plated) with a huge aquamarine sitting proudly front and centre. I can't wait to get my claws on it. (Sorry).

Buy it here.

5. Trousers by River Island - £38

Florals a bit too....flowery?! Go abstract with these slim cut cigarette pants. And yes, there is a matching jacket.

Buy them here.

6. Flatforms by Mango - £89.99

You'll just have to trust me on this.

Buy them here.

7. Dress by Topshop - £32

The gorgeous sporty shape is very Prada SS14 but it's the tropical print that earns this dress its place on this list. And makes us want a Piña Colada.

Buy it here.

8. Low Back Peplum Top by Glamorous - £23

Sandy would.

Buy it here.

9. Jeans by Lulu & Co - £78 (reduced from £195)

Sometimes you just want to wear jeans on a night out, but that doesn't mean you can't still make a fashion statement. These customised vintage jeans are a fave of the fash pack and now they're 60% off.

Buy them here.

10. Dress by TFNC - £38

Of course, for every girl who wants to wear jeans on a night out there's a girl who wants to look DROP DEAD GORGEOUS. This dress is sexy, but effortless. It's comfy and cool and has just the right nod to the 'underwear as outerwear' trend. I'd team with killer patent heels (red, ideally), a messy beehive and minimal make-up except for thick kohl eyeliner.

Buy it here.
