Something For The Weekend

29 August 2014

Okay I'll hold my hands up, this is a slightly more spendy post than usual. BUT it's pay day for a lot of us today and if pay day doesn't mean dropping £300 on a sparkly jumper, then I just don't know what's real any more.

The shops have turned a real corner and suddenly all the awkward stuff is out and all the great stuff is finally in stock. I could easily buy twenty hundred items this weekend if it wasn't for the 'mortgage' and 'wedding' that I'm supposed to be contributing to (eff you real life, I want new skirts!) but if there are any sneaky purchases to be made I'll definitely be choosing something from this list.

Happy shopping! And remember you can still get FREE CHAMPAGNE until the end of this weekend....so get guzzling!

1. Jumper by Markus Lupfer - £260

Hook a duck, hook a man....whatever.

Buy it here.

2. Skirt by Malene Birger - £295

The only thing better than a sequin jumper is the perfect sequin skirt to wear it with. Grey knitwear (and grey everything, actually) is a big trend for this coming season so keep it jazzy with ALL THE SPARKLES.

Buy it here.

3. Shoes by Topshop - £45

You will of course need some silver shoes to wear with your ace silver sequin skirt. That's just science.

Buy them here.

4. Clutch by & other stories - £39

It has a hand pocket :D

Buy it here.

5. Shirt by Michael van der Ham - £285

London Fashion Week is right around the corner and this was an absolute treat when it was on the catwalk. Wear it to work to prove you're cooler than the company or wear it socially to just generally win at life.

Buy it here.

6. Skirt by Warehouse - £38

There's a matching top if you want to go all out awesome.

Buy it here.

7. Clutch by Kenzo - £125

Be protected by the Kenzo holy trinity - the flying fish, evil eye and signature tiger's head. Roaaaaaar.

Buy it here.

8. T-Shirt by Proenza Schouler - £185

It's a lot for a t-shirt but throw it on with any old skinny jeans and you WILL look rad. Promise. (Also: so so so soft).

Buy it here.

9. Watch by Finds - £115

It's a nice to keep a hint of summer pastels with us as we go into autumn. This watch is waterproof too, which you wouldn't necessarily expect from its pretty demeanour.

Buy it here.

10. Jumper by Warehouse - £38

For anyone who, like me, is always a bit "oooooh new pencil case time" when September rolls around, even though school was decades ago.

Buy it here.
