Christmas Cocktails Part 2

9 December 2014

Any night owl worth their feathers know that there are cocktails, and then there are Late Night London cocktails.

This winter we are living up to our reputation in the most delicious way possible – by bringing you Christmas cheer by the glass (and fishbowl!) with our beyond moreish range of festive cocktails.

Looking to shake things up? Our Spiced Appletini has just the right amount of pizazz you’re after to kick start your evening. Shaking fresh chilli, honey and lime juice with Smirnoff Apple and Disaronno, this fiery concoction will knock your Santa socks off. Available for only £8.50 at Core in the City and a host of other hotspots how can you resist?

For a mixture that will be right up your chimney search no further than Milk and Cookies, a festive favourite that we have on good authority is recommended by the big man himself. Combining Black Cow vodka, Disaronno and Galliano Ristretto with whipped cream (yes you read that correctly!), this delightful tipple is daintily served in a teacup with a yummy cookie on the side, and can be found on the fabulously quirky cocktail menu at Foundation for £9.50.

Taking inspiration from our friends across the pond we have put a twist on tradition with our Absolut Nogg, a delectable snifter featuring Absolut Pear and Tuaca shaken with Maraschino and Custard. Swing by Foundation for a taste of this little beauty, which at £8.50 is a festive steal.

For a sweeter than sweet treat try our Candy Cane Martini, an adorable cocktail combining Ketel One, Crème de Menthe, peppermint schnapps and milk for a deliciously creamy and minty mouthful. This enchanting mixture is waiting for you at various venues across London, including the West End’s Loop Bar, Piccadilly Institute and Sway Bar.  Served with a candy cane perched jauntily on the side – seriously, could you get any more Christmassy?

For those in the mood for something quintessentially Christmas and divinely fruity the Merry Monkey is exactly what you have been searching for. With an exciting mix of Monkey Shoulder, Black Cherry and Vanilla Jam, Butterscotch schnapps and a serious squeeze of lemon juice this is a flavour sensation like nothing you have tasted before. The best part is you can be a very Merry Monkey for only £9.50 at Foundation or Core. The only problem? You know that one will never be enough, oh well – it’s Christmas!
