Something for the weekend

4 January 2014

The sales continue and even more prices have been slashed as retailers do their utmost to get you to break any resolutions about curbing your shopping habit.

Let's face it, January is a terribly dull month - if you don't shop and go out then what on earth ARE you going to do?! We highly recommend you keep the party going, something has to compensate for the dark days and rainy gloom. At least you can feel less guilty about any purchases if they're 50% off. New year, new you and all that!

Happy shopping ;)

1. Striped Dress by Sea NY - £182.50 (reduced from £365)

The rich royal blue silk makes this dress totally wearable now but, crucially, the striped style and nod to all things nautical makes this dress a great investment for the summer months. Because it will be summer. Eventually.

Buy it here.

2. Eagle Necklace by Miss Selfridge - £17.50 (reduced from £35)

Walk like an Egyptian in this eagle and beetle adorned necklace. Excessive Cleopatra style eyeliner optional.

8. Zabby Dress by Motel - £55

A mermaid would definitely wear this, is that not reason enough to need it?

9. Cut Out Dress by Glamorous - £25 (reduced from £42)

There's something very superhero-esque about this cut out dress. Maybe it's the blue and red that's making us think of Wonder Woman, but either way it's a show stopper.

Buy it here.

Couldn't face the queues for Isbael Marant pour H&M? Get your hands on 'the real thing' with these cropped jeans instead. A flash of ankle gets the fash pack in a frenzy, so expect these to sell out quick. Team with brilliant heels.
