Something for the weekend

28 March 2014

Anyone else slightly furious that they've had to get their winter coat back out from the deepest depths of the wardrobe?! It's not supposed to be this way!

But as cold and foggy as it may be today, we've been promised tropical climes in the capital this weekend.

I never trust the weatherman, but I do like the sound of a tropical paradise so I'm going to guarantee jungle like hotness as best as I can by snapping up the best palm print pieces from the shops this weekend.

I suggest you do the same.

1. Trousers and Shirt by Ganni - £90 each

This is one of my favourite palm printed garmz on the high street at the moment. The A-line midi shape makes it exceptionally flattering and the print looks seriously high luxe. Worth every penny.

If you love palm prints as much as I do (i.e WITH ALL YOUR BEATING HEART) then you need to check out House of Hackney who have covered *everything* in palm print, from pretty dresses like this one to sofas, wallpaper and oven gloves. Warning: you'll want it all.

8. Vest by Mango - £19.99

Couple the super softness of this vest with its raw edge hem and you'll easily think this is a vintage vest you've worn for 30 years. More new things should feel this old.
