Something For The Weekend

30 May 2014

I'm just gonna straight up ignore the fact that I should be recommending umbrellas and coats with hoods, because summer WILL come (it will! it must!)

...and when it does you need to be prepared.

You can tell I'm looking forward to festival season already as my first bum bag purchase of 2014 is looming on the horizon (how can you resist when it looks like a watermelon?!) but otherwise it's all about bold prints, sequins and colour this week.

Happy shopping!

1. Boxy Tee by River Island - £30

Either print is great, but stick them side by side and they look frikkin awesome.

Buy it here.

2. Skort by River Island - £30

It's the shape to be seen in and it's coral AND it's leopard print. What more could you ask for? Wear with the above tee for maximum 'LOOK AT MY PRINTS' impact.

Buy it here.

3. Sandals by Topshop - £30

Flatform wedges are a thing this summer, so find a pair you like and wear them relentlessly.

Buy them here.

4. Tee by Freebird Apparel - £18

Some people just need reminding.

Buy it here.

5. Trousers by Jaded London - £45

They have pineapples on them!!!!

Buy them here.

6. Bumbag by Merrimaking - £28

I carried a watermelon.

Buy it here.

7. Sequin Skirt by Nasty Gal - £76

I have often thought a heavy gold sequin maxi skirt is *just* the thing that my wardrobe is missing, but now that I've seen how brilliant one can look with a baggy old tee I'm convinced. Serious IDGAF attitude.

Buy it here.

8. Sequin Dress by alice + olivia - £430

Or do the opposite of laid back sequins and just completely steal the show.

Buy it here.

9. Bracelet by Oh Someday - £15

Hand made in Brighton, Roots Manuva would approve.

Buy it here.

10. Sandals by Zara - £59.99

A little bit tribal, a big bit awesome.

Buy them here.
