London Cocktail Week

10 September 2014

Back for the fifth year, London Cocktail Week – the biggest drinks festival in the UK – is just around the corner.

From Monday 6 to Sunday 12 October 2014 get ready to shake, sip and party your way to a fantastic celebration of our capital’s unrivalled cocktail culture.

Following on from the incredible success of 2013 with over 176 bespoke events and more than 160 participating bars across London, this year will be jam-packed with more tastings, master classes, pop-ups and parties than ever before.

Wristbands cost just £10 if booked in advance and allow the wearer access to the huge amount of free sampling and cocktail demonstrations, as well as the renowned Cocktail Tours. The most visible and inclusive part of the festival; 200 of the best bars across the capital will be throwing open their doors to offer bespoke and unlimited £4 cocktails throughout the week. These partnering bars have been cherry-picked because of their shared dedication to delivering wonderful service, excellent drinks and a great experience – always fancied that exclusive hotel bar? Never got round to tracking down that elusive speakeasy? Want to visit a brand new venue or revisit an old favourite? Now is your chance!

The Ketel One Hub, a specially created pop-up within Seven Dials, will continue to be the main wristband collection point during the week, where you can get drinks-making tips from the experts and meet the London Cocktail Week team who can help you plan your time during the festival. The area will once again play host to London Cocktail Week’s Shop and Sip, with stores in the area teaming up with our sponsors to offer tasters, masterclasses and the chance to discover something new. Expect liqueurs and racy lingerie or hard liquor with your beard trim – Seven Dials has something for everyone.

Want to try somewhere different? This year there will also be the opportunity to collect your wristbands from other areas of London, so you can go straight out to enjoy the fantastic bars across the capital.
