I love when the AW dresses start to come into stores and the neon crochet heads over to the sale rail. It just feels warm and exciting, knowing X Factor will be back soon alongside cheese-boards and copious pints of Baileys.
There are LOADS of gorge new season dresses and I will be featuring my other faves next Friday as there were too many to squeeze into one shopping edit today. Too many options is good though. It's like cocktails, you shouldn't struggle to choose one but just order half the menu....amirite?!
1. Dress from Oasis - £65
So sixties. So sweet. So purchased.
2. Dress by Topshop - £65
This is the kind of late 80s/early 90s print that I'd have had on curtains as a kid. And that's a compliment.
3. Petites Dress by Miss Selfridge - £45
Think off duty Kate Moss rather than 'cowgirl themed hen do' and you could style this dress for some serious fashion points. It's not real suede, but who cares?
4. Dress by Love - £36
I like this dress because it's casual and girly but also a bit booby. A great option for when you don't want to look like you've tried too hard but still want to look smoking hot.
5. Dress by Warehouse - £65
You shall go to the ball! (slash Wednesday night at Forge)
6. Dress by Rare - £45
Blame the khaki, but I would pair this with victory rolls and killer red lipstick.
7. Dress by Warehouse - £46
The reason you don't see many dresses like this in bars is because they're warm. Like, really warm. Like, better pop some extra Sure in your clutch bag warm. Still, if you want to stand out on a night out and look effortlessly glam then a dress like this is THE ONE.
8. Dress by TFNC - £45
I approve of adding dramatic volume to each and every outfit.
9. Dress by Rare - £45
Let's not pretend this isn't intensely sexy and something you don't need to own.
10. Dress by Warehouse - £85
Bit spendy for Warehouse, but smart enough to be paired with a fascinator or a hat for 'fancy occasions' whilst also being suitable for a night out in town. A dress that can styled up or down easily is always worth the investment.
