The high luxe handbags for 90s girls are coming...

27 July 2015

Now I hate to wish away the summer, but I am totally ready for AW15 to start dropping into stores now.

It's not that I desperately want to be in scarves and coats already, far from it, I just want the shops to get their spark back and I know that won't really happen til September.

Still, at least that gives us some time to save up for some big splurges.

But how did I discover this fabulous collection?

Randomly, I was passed by a rave-friendly Bentley as I walked through Chelsea yesterday morning.

Being that velvet Porsches and diamanté encrusted Lambos aren't actually that rare around the streets of SW3, I didn't think it was promoting anything as such. I just assumed a brilliant wealthy disco bunny was driving it. (And that I needed to be her friend).

I uploaded a pic to Twitter though and was informed by someone in the know that it was in fact a promo car for a new Aspinal collection. A new Aspinal collection that I have now investigated and now DESPERATELY NEED.

For AW15, Aspinal of London have joined forces with être cécile and the result is as special as you'd expect: the classic chic of Aspinal and party girl boldness of être cécile comes together to create something very covetable indeed.

être cécile have re-worked their favourite styles from Aspinal's classic range in bright calf, nappa and rubberised leathers. There are 1990s inspired graphics. There are smiley faces. There's plaid. There's a desperate need to have one of these bags on your arm IMMEDIATELY, perhaps with a glow stick.

The collection starts at £95 for purses and £295 for bags and will be available from September, so look out for updates on the Aspinal of London website! Although you'll probably need that long to work out which one to actually buy.

The pics above are only some of the styles available, too. *Swoon*.

Can I get five?!
