Something For The Weekend

8 June 2015

I know last week's shopping edit was dedicated to all things floral, but more than a few floral pieces are on my radar this week too. What can I say? WE'VE BEEN PROMISED A SUNSHINE AND I'M EXCITED.

Assuming the forecast glorious sunshine does materialise, I'd suggest doing your shopping online and spending every minute available out in the parks rather than cooped up inside Westfield et al. But if it's raining then sod it, I'll fight you to the front of the queue at Topshop with the best of them.

Happy weekend!

1. Dress by Warehouse - £50

Okay so obviously the print is THE BEST THING EVER but the shape is pretty ace too. It's the type of dress you'd see on a girl and assume she's just one of those lucky bastards who gets all the best vintage pieces that you can *never* find when you go rummaging in charity shops, but then you ask her and she's like "no babe, it's from Warehouse" and you drop everything you're doing and run to the nearest store to get one. Go get it, tiger.

2. Dress by Topshop Petite - £70

Grown up school summer dress vibez.

Buy here.

3. Swimsuit by Rare - £35

I read in a newspaper this week that swimsuits are officially "back in". Erm, guys, I've been saying this for years. This one's a cutie if you're ready to see the light.

4. Dress by Oasis - £52

In any other colourway this floral print could be a bit vanilla, but the dashes of neon make it perfect for the Stepford Wife who's spiked the garden party punch with three bottles of vodka.

5. Top by Motel - £25

Okay so it's not real suede, but this top with any sort of denim is a sure fire SS15 winner. A very quick way to update an outfit.

6. Shorts by Miss Selfridge - £35

Not for my legs, but maybe for yours?

Buy here.

7. Waistcoat by Warehouse - £65

I love a longline waistcoat (this comes down to about knee-length) and as long as you can put up with everyone thinking you definitely work in fashion/PR, this one's a great buy.

8. Top by Zara - £29.99

Pretty certain I had this top as a child. Pretty certain I bought it again having seen J.Lo in one in the early noughties. Pretty certain I need it in my life for the third time.

9. Skirt by Miss Selfridge - £45

Matching top (here) optional.

Buy here.

10. Dress by Jaded London - £48

Great for pretending to be Joseph, even better for wearing to Pride at the end of the month.
