11 Gorgeous Feel-Good Charity Purchases

What's better than shopping? Shopping that has the added feel-good factor of knowing your purchase is supporting a good cause.

Of course, for ultimate feel-good points you can buy second hand bits from charity shops....but what if you're after beauty products or an amazing (and brand new) designer handbag?

Fear not, I've got you covered! 

Below are my eleven fave charity collaborations of the minute, they're all pretty special and cover everything from a luscious soap for under a fiver to a pretty amazing bag for....errrr....nearly two grand.

1. Theirworld Biography Bracelet by Astley Clarke - £140

This stunning bracelet was launched this week and I was lucky enough to go to the launch party and hear more about the charity from its president Sarah Brown. You can read my blog post all about it and 'meet' some of the children this bracelet is helping here, but basically 20% of the sale price goes directly to helping some of the 58 million girls and boys around the world who don't get a single day of schooling in their lives.

2. Shea Apricot Solidarity Soap by L'Occitane - £4.50

100% of the profits from the sale of this apricot fragranced body soap are used to finance NGOs working on eye health projects in developing countries.

3. Key To Freedom Silk Kimono from Topshop - £65

I love a silk kimono so I'd happily include this in any shopping edit, but this beauty is extra special as it's hand-crafted by rescued women supported and working together with the Key to Freedom charity initiative.

4. Pink Pony Ricky Bag by Ralph Lauren - £1670

A beaut of a bag and 25% percent of the purchase price is directed to an international network of local cancer charities.

5. Comic Relief Lipstick by Rimmel London - £5.49

An awesome shade of Red Nose Day red and £1.67 of the purchase price goes directly to Comic Relief.

6. NSPCC Bracelet by Carolina Bucci - £300

Crafted from sterling silver beads and woven with dark-green silk thread, this wrap design is embossed with two children holding hands and Carolina Bucci is donating £95 from each sale to the NSPCC.

7. Bee Lovely Hand Cream by Neal's Yard Remedies - £10

An absolute fave of mine, this stuff smells heavenly and was always on my desk til I foolishly ran out of it. Luckily it's no longer limited edition so you can always get your paws on it. NYR donate £10,000 a year to projects to help save the humble bees.

8. Inner Strength Bath & Shower Oil by Aromatherapy Associates - £40

This oil features a stunning scent of uplifting clary sage, calming frankincense, fortifying rosemary and balancing rose. 10% of proceeds is given to the charity that is helping pioneer new cancer vaccine treatments, of which Geraldine Howard, founder of Aromatherapy Associates, is currently a patient.

9. GOSH bracelet by Stephen Webster - £240


This handmade 10-carat rose gold bracelet is decorated with a heart-shaped 3.10-carats pink crystal. Very dainty and delightful. *All* proceeds go to Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's Charity.

Not just a fab colour, the full R.R.P less V.A.T from the sale of this lipglass goes towards helping women, men and children everywhere affected by HIV/AIDS.
