I can't quite believe it's raining again as I sit here to write this but I can't handle doing another rain focused SFTW when it's nearly June, so let's just pretend it's lush out, eh?
Summer florals are always a winner, but I particularly love the 60s and 70s vibes that can be seen in so many of the floral prints on the high street at the mo.
1. Kimono by Another 8 - £45
Billowy sleeves are always fun. More summery pieces should have sleeves. WE DON'T ALL WANT OUR ARMS OUT, mmmmk?
2. Top by WYLDR - £32
The print is gorge, the cut will do clever things for your collarbones and the peplum detail is fab for showing off the waist. *Adds to basket*.
3. Shorts by Zara - £29.99
Florals don't have to be super bright, opt for florals on a black background for something a little less ordinary. You could even wear these shorts with chunky tights come autumn. (Or with chunky tights now, as it's pissing down).
4. Dress by Oasis - £55
So sixties! Like the most amazingly brilliant wallpaper at your nan's.
5. Dress by Miss Selfridge Petites - £35
Because small girls want to be able to wear maxi dresses too.
6. Dress by Motel - £52
Oooooh this one's a bit sexy, isn't it? I like that this dress has a summer siren edge without being too obvious about it. It's not tarty, but it will look HOT on.
7. Trousers by Warehouse - £28.50 (from £38)
Warehouse is my go-to store for printed trousers, summer in summer out. This pair looks more expensive than they are AND they're on sale. Win win.
8. Jumpsuit by Topshop Boutique - £120
I want to be cool enough to wear this to a wedding with a MASSIVE hat. Maybe you are cool enough to do just that?
9. Swimsuit by Oasis - £38
Another great print and fear not, you can untie the neck to avoid pesky tan lines.
10. Espadrilles by Zara - £19.99
There's more to summer footwear than flip flops and sandals. Espadrilles look great with denim shorts or ankle grazers...and Zara has tonnes of cheap designs.
