Something For The Weekend

9 October 2015

This week's high street edit nearly became a love letter to polo necks but I reigned it in (just) and have thrown in some coats and other bits so it's not all glorious knitwear.

Srsly tho, can all my clothes have polo necks pls?!

Happy shopping!

1. Coat by Oasis - £130

A maxi coat like this will always be a firm favourite for me but that contrast stripe has elevated it from "ooh that's nice" to "CANCEL ALL PLANS AND BUY IMMEDIATELY". I really do need it. Not want, need.

2. Top (£49.99) and Skirt (£39.99) by H&M

As a total look, this couldn't get much better for me. Both are fab pieces on their own (the mohair blend of the jumper makes it seriously soft) but I just love how laidback cool it looks with the Wizard of Oz appropriate skirt.

3. Dress by Warehouse - £45

Anyone want to guess how much I love contrast stripes?

4. Parka by Zara - £59.99

I strongly believe that everyone needs a padded hooded wondercoat from Zara. Pretend it's still the 90s with this one.(I feel like I should be walking home from school in it to binge watch Byker Grove).

Buy here.

5. Blouse by H&M - £19.99

I'm always up for pretending I'm in the Labyrinth so this blouse will do nicely thanks.

6. Dress by Topshop - £80

Everything has gotten very casual on the high street, even the "going out out" garmz. You can still find sexiness if you look hard enough though. I mean, how fit is this dress?!

Buy here.

7. Top by Zara - £25.99

It's the little details with Zara - a funnel neck as opposed to a polo neck...those little slits in the sleeves. It's a beaut.

Buy here.

8. Dress by H&M - £39.99

Wiggle wiggle! More polo neck midi dresses, please.

Buy here.

9. Cape Jacket by Warehouse - £140

I have a cape jacket and I can't easily explain the joy it brings me. You have to wear one to know how much fun they are, but just trust me that they're a LOT of fun. And they look frikkin fantastic.

Buy here.

10. Dress by H&M - £29.99

There may still be time to enjoy this folksy dress with bare legs (espesh if you team with over the knee boots) but it doesn't matter if the sun does go away, it looks equally gorge with chunky tights.
