5 Ways to Celebrate the Long Weekend

13 April 2017

OK, so we totally get that it’s Easter weekend. It’s a time to spend with family, eating a roast dinner and plenty of chocolate.

But for those of us who aren’t leaving the capital, we need other plans to make the most of our 96 hours. Except for eating all the choccy, of course.

Here’s the 5 ways we can’t wait to celebrate the long weekend:

5. PARTY ON THE TERRACE

The warm weather has us craving fantastic outdoor party terraces! Check out our favs like Ruby Blue in Leicester Square or Core in the city. Perfect for sipping and taking in the views.

4. BBQ

Yep, grab one of those takeaway BBQs and get yourself round to your friends flat who actually has that garden (lucky thing). Get cooking and grab some Pimm’s while you’re at it.

3. PROSECCO IN THE PARK

It’s set to be another brilliant warm weekend in London. We say get to the parks to get your tan on. Also, no park adventure is complete without a chilled bottle of Prosecco. And a blanket. Don’t forget the blanket!

2. DAY TRIP IN YOUR CITY

So, you might not be able to get too far out of London, but why not explore a new part of the city? Richmond is home to the gorgeous Kew Gardens or why not book yourself a new adventure and climb up the top of the O2. You adventurer you.

1. EASTER COCKTAILS

Obviously this would top the charts at #1. Not only do these sweet treats taste AHMAZING, they also make you an extra Good Egg because for each cocktail sold 25p will be going towards our charity, Cheers 4 Cheer, which helps small projects and causes within communities in the UK, South America, and Africa that need a helping hand to achieve their target and dream. Go on you, you deserve another drink just for that.
