This late-night den is the favourite for a young crowd with a remarkable attitude-free vibe: a real pleasure in the heart of Soho.

Gem gives you the chance to mix with a friendly crowd, and you can drink and chat in intimate booths under cool scarlet-tinged lighting. When the 50% off drinks offers kick in from 5 to 8pm you’ll see the place fill up, so order an excellent bottle of wine and you’ll come away with change from a tenner.  And before long, the Crystal Bar’s downstairs DJ will be pumping out tunes and the girls’ handbags will be ensconced on the dancefloor.

Everything’s very relaxed and chilled-out, whether you’re here during the day or night – so it’s a nice place for a delicious lunch too. In fact, we’d say that the absence of attitude is Gem’s greatest facet.
