Christmas Dinners In London

Christmas calories don't count. Check out our favourite restaurants in London for a cracking Christmas dinner in 2018.

Christmas dinner is arguably the most important meal of year. So important in fact, that most of us have multiple Christmas dinners each year, one with our colleagues, one with our friends and the main event on on Christmas day.

Before we get the info on what restaurants and bars in London wil be serving up for Christmas 2018, let's remember some of the best Christmas food we found in London last year.

Be inspired by the Christmas Dinners that stole the spotlight, and make sure you check back to see what loads of venues in London will be dishing out for Christmas 2018.

Christmas + Bowling at All Star Lanes

They've got 3 venues in London in Holborn, Stratford and Brick Lane and at all 4 we were able to swap out the traditional Turkey dinner for things like their amazing Christmas dinner burger (yes, it was as good as it sounds), whilst enjoying a game of bowling (because a sit down meal is so last year).

Salvador and Amanda Bloomsbury

Not strictly Christmas food, but definietly worth considering if you're sick of (avoiding the) brussel sprouts for the 3rd time over the festive season. We tucked into some amazing tapas dishes this Christmas, with zero regrets.

Belgo Soho

Belgo’s roots of muscles and beer did not go out the window at Christmas time, the curried mussels on the Christmas menu were definitely a hit. For those of us who didn't want seafood, their confit duck leg gave us life.

Burdock

Burdock was a favourite for those seeking a more traditional Christmas dinner. It was ah-mazing. Here's hoping they do the same for Christmas 2018.

Burdock Old Street

If you're south of the river, you'll kick yourself if you didn't get to Tanner and Co. This restaurant and bar near London Bridge Station, is well known for serving amazing food (especially their breakfasts!) and this Christmas they did not disappoint.

Balls Brothers Ac 3

Balls Brothers Adams Court

It's one of the most recent addition to the Balls Brothers Family, Adams Court was one to visit over the festive period. Perfect for a few festive nibbles or a full blown 3 course Christmas dinner, Balls Brothers Adams Court was a perfect destination for festive food and drinks in The City.

Top Tip: Check out the Wine Cellar on the top floor to add an extra twinkle to your eye this Christmas.

Draft House

Draft House owned the Christmas dinner last year. We were more than a little excited to discover that they offered both a gluten free Christmas menu and a vegan Christmas menu alongside their traditional Christmas options. Well done Draft House, we salute you.

Avenue

Avenue will always be a firm favourtie of the Late Night London crew. Made famous for it's amazing brunch, Avenue pulled out all the stops again for Christmas.

We also loved and appreciated that Avenue opened on Christmas day, so for those of us clever enough to avoid the cooking and washing up, Avenue came to our rescue.
